How to Setup ReviewBuilder
ReviewBuilder is a hands-free, automated review solicitation tool that allows you to send your customers to DealerRater, Google, and Facebook to leave a review about their experience. This article will walk you through the essentials and how to get the most out of the feature!
Before You Begin
Before configuring ReviewBuilder, two things need to be in place:
DMS Data Feed — DealerRater will work with your DMS provider to set up a daily data feed that pulls in relevant customer data for your sales and service transactions. In some cases, we may need to reach out for additional information or authorization to complete the feed setup.
Connected Review Sources — The review platforms you want to send customers to (Google, Facebook, etc.) must first be connected on the Review Sources page. If you haven't done this yet, follow the steps in How to Add and Manage Review Sources in the Dealer Panel before continuing.
Important: ReviewBuilder can only distribute requests to platforms that have been connected on the Review Sources page. If you don't see a platform listed in your distribution settings, you'll need to add it as a review source first
Access the ReviewBuilder
First, log into the Dealer Panel with an account with admin access.
Hover over Reviews in the header navigation.
Select ReviewBuilder from the drop-down.
